Trajetória na arte, pesquisa e docência: vivências e práticas do Teatro Negro na Licenciatura em Teatro da UNIFAP

Abstract

This undergraduate thesis presents a monographic memoir of my formative journey in the Theater Licentiate degree program at the Federal University of Amapá, centered on my experiences with Black Theater in the dimensions of artist, researcher, and teacher. The writing constitutes an exercise in "escrevivência" (life-writing), articulating personal experiences with the collective, social, and historical dimensions that traverse the Black body in an Amazonian context. The adopted methodology is Escrevivência, through which I share my personal experiences tied to a collective reality, further grounded in bibliographical review and analysis of my formative trajectory, articulating practical experiences developed within university settings and extension activities. From this trajectory, the study highlights how Black Theater configures itself as an artistic, pedagogical, and political language capable of promoting critical reflections on identity, ancestry, and ethnic-racial relations. It discusses the university's role in training artist-researcher-educators committed to decolonial education, as well as the relevance of collectivity and Afro-referenced epistemologies in the construction and strengthening of Black Theater in Amapá. The theoretical framework draws on authors who guide the central themes: Conceição Evaristo (2020); Abdias do Nascimento (2004; 2020); Evani Tavares Lima (2010); Antônio Bispo dos Santos (2015); Julianna Rosa de Souza (2020); Cristiane Sobral (1998); and local authors such as Nelma Silva (2020), Terezinha Ribas (2026), and Iara Piris (2025).
