Proposta de parque urbano às margens do terminal rodoviário intermunicipal em Macapá/AP

Abstract

Cities have undergone major changes in their forms over the decades. For a long time the environment has been suffering from this unplanned urban growth. The problems originated from the lack of leisure spaces, adequate landscaping and little interaction with the natural environment, directly affects the quality of life of the people. Today, the quest to preserve nature and integrate cities has been very important. The increase in the quality of life was the strongest argument for, increasingly, the presence of these areas in the urban environment. With the demographic expansion of cities there was a need for more green areas and entertainment for the population, thus promoting a better social and sustainable development. The city of Macapá, especially the northern zone, presents a great deficit of infrastructure and public space for leisure. With this in mind, an urban development project has been developed for a park that occupies a total area of 9324,079m², consisting of recreational urban equipment such as a sports court and a playground, and wooded areas that combine the city with the environment, as well as being a park with native vegetation . The work presents a theoretical and analytical basis for the construction of a park that promotes integration and a higher quality of life, not only for the residents of the area in question, as well as for the entire population.
