InterAmazônias - uma fronteira musical: As músicas tradicional e contemporânea que expressam a geograficidade Amazônida do Amapá e da Guiana Francesa

Abstract

Work on themes related to music and its representations has been approached in different areas of knowledge, and the proposal to treat it by Cultural Geography is the path chosen here. Music in our work enters as one of the essential elements that mark the Amazonian geography in the formatting of identities, regionalities, territorialities and representations of space. It is important to highlight the need to expand academic research and technical products that promote an interface between traditional and contemporary music between Amapá and French Guiana, a fact that we have seen throughout our professional career in the production of musical events and which was confirmed in works field in the year of 2017 and 2018. The perception of this gap, therefore, was the motivator of the elaboration of our proposal. The guiding question behind the research is: how does music make it possible to understand the Amazonian geography of Amapá and French Guiana? As a result of this research, we have two products: an application project and a documentary
