Canais urbanos: Uma intervenção paisagística para o canal da avenida Mendonça Júnior em Macapá-AP

Abstract

The Mendonça Júnior channel located in the town of the city of Macapá that in the past along with the Eliezer Levi trapiche were the main ports of entry of navigators from neighboring cities and is now one of the main rainwater drainage in the city of Macapá-AP. Located in the center of the city, the Mendonça Junior channel is also located in the commercial center of the capital, which ends up collaborating with the pollution of the same making it an inhospitable and idle space in such a dynamic area, which leads to make this an area of fragility generating the need for urban and landscape planning, setting as goals the improvement of basic sanitation, revitalization of the pavement, the taxiway and the canal itself, creating a linear park in its entire extension of almost a kilometer and thus making it better for those who live there. For the elaboration of this intervention project, thematic maps were made, which analyze the current situation of the area, conceptual plan to define the functions to be adopted, architectural party and preliminary study through sketches, floor plans and cuts that graphically represent the proposal for the needs. Based on the studies and analyzes made, it is possible to design a landscape intervention project in the Mendonça Júnior channel, which contributes to the insertion of public, green and ecological use space, thus interacting with the environment urban.
