A participação do jovem nas eleições gerais de 2010 no município de Macapá por meio do voto facultativo

Abstract

The political debate proposed here aims to understand how to set up the participation of youth in the 2010 general elections in the city of Macapá by voting optional. The quantitative and qualitative research allowed a sharper scan of the studied phenomenon. The article is divided into two sections. The first section presents briefly the history of voting in Brazil, showing the chronological data of Nicholas (2004). In the second part, we work with the perception of the young on how to process your voluntary participation by voting in Brazilian youth and what was the reflection of these young people to the city of Macapá to register to vote in general elections in 2010. Research has shown that the participation of youth through increased voluntary voting with respect to the last election, with that, concern grew in understanding the complex workings of politics in society Amapaense by voting.
