Espaços livres públicos de bairros: uma proposta paisagística para o Conjunto Cabralzinho

Abstract

The public open spaces have been subject to problems in its uses and activities, which are related to factors such as poor administration, lack of resources and lack of cooperation of the population, resulting mainly in infrastructure and security disability, and by the arrival technology, which ultimately divert people's interest for the use of these spaces, and the lack of adequate landscape composition from equipment and vegetation. Thus, this study addressed the areas of Wilk Assis square and Mazagão avenue in Cabralzinho neighborhood, located in the western town of Macapá, and sought to address the importance of elements such as afforestation and supplementary vegetation, quality of infrastructure, street furniture and accessibility as an aid for the diagnosis of areas whose one – Wilk Assis square – is the main meeting point and leisure of Cabralzinho neighborhood. The objective of this study was to identify features and activities in Cabralzinho neighborhood and the areas of intervention for the development of an intervention proposal for both. The method used was qualitative approach by field survey (photographic records, land use mapping and flows), uses analysis and activities and references. Then it created a proposal for intervention in these areas based on studies, information and records obtained.
