Assistência técnica e acessibilidade aplicada em HIS: o projeto de reforma da Casa do Lucas

Abstract

Promoting accessibility to constructed environments is an essential factor for a society that wants to be inclusive, that is, where everyone can enjoy the same opportunities. The rights of people with disabilities and the right to decent housing - both guaranteed in the Federal Constitution of 1988 - are elements of great importance for this inclusive process and, therefore, indispensable for the development of an equitable and just society. The law that guarantees for low income families the right to Technical Assistance for Housing of Social Interest (Federal Law No. 11.888 / 2008) is understood as an instrument in the achievement of this inclusive process and, in this perspective, the work presented here arises in the context of the execution of the University Extension Project of the Federal University of Amapá, entitled Technical Assistance in Architecture and Urbanism. Therefore, the objective of this work is to provide technical assistance in the elaboration of the basic project for the expansion and renovation of a housing of social interest (HIS) which presents in its family composition a person with a disability, in the north of the city of Macapá-AP. The methodology was broadly based on a bibliographical survey on the subject, a documentary survey on the object of study, on-site visits and meetings with the family, allowing the understanding of their needs and their relationship with the inhabited space, in order to subsidize the proposal. This study resulted in the proposal of an adapted housing, built through stages, harmonizing the demands of the family, as well as legal parameters related to the accessible built space.
