Análise da implementação do Plano Municipal de Saneamento Básico e a perspectiva dos munícipes quanto ao saneamento básico no município de Santana/AP

Abstract

This paper presents the perception of dwellers and municipal managers about the needs, importance, challenges and paths for implementing the Basic Sanitation’s Plan in Santana city at Amapa’s State. Nowadays, Santana city has a basic structuration level, since it has been founded 29 (twenty nine) years ago and today for implementing Basic Sanitation’s Plan it would be necessary make a certain kinds of structural adaptations related to, for example, urban mobility, absence of communication between the focal entity and the population, not mentioning the slowness in attainment the services. Thus, we seek through applying quizzes, during field survey, with the dwellers and interview with municipal managers, to verify the current panorama of basic sanitation in Santana city. Furthermore, we focused in examine how the investments in basic sanitation have been done in Santana city, emphasizing the sewage collection and treatment. We also have discussed how the routings are being made to attend the legal aspects which this city requests, initiating a reflection across the manner which the whole process is being elaborated.
