“Mulher velha também transa”: um estudo sobre sexualidade feminina na terceira idade na universidade da maturidade da Universidade Federal do Amapá – UMAP/UNIFAP

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perspective of the sexuality of the woman in the third age in an extension project captained by the Federal University of Amapá - UMAP / UNIFAP. The research originated from the following problem: how does the elderly woman see and develop her sexuality in a world that conditions her to nullify her? In this work the bibliographical research, the consultation to the literary collection and the studies of authors on old age, gender and sexuality were used. The research technique used was the interview. It was found that the elderly women of the program present varied visions of their sexuality, from those who feel repressed by society to those who assume their sexuality in the face of all the barriers imposed, assuming a posture of confrontation, rediscovery and resignification of the own body and pleasure.
