Capoeira: ancestralidade, globalização e interação social a partir de apontamentos de capoeiristas amapaenses

Abstract

Capoeira established in Brazil with African influence matrix represents a symbol of liberation for the black national culture. The ancestry, spirituality have always been characteristic traits in poultry. However, with the acceleration of globalizing relationships, supported by the yoke of modernity, one realizes that the mystical universe of capoeira is away from all his understanding with regard to the existential experience of capoeira. Therefore the aim of this work focused on the verification of the traditional aspects of the practice of capoeira analyzing its religious composition, globalization and its potential as a tool for social interaction from the viewpoint of capoeiristas Amapá. Thus, it was found that the poultry before the globalization process tends to pass by at least two processes. First, systematic loss of existential meaning of capoeira when he believes that many practitioners are unaware of the true meaning of some of the rituals that are coming from capoeira African origin. In this sense, it also highlighted the religious issues that are present in poultry, and that over time were being reinvented, and thus distancing himself from the mystical universe of capoeira on the issue of spirituality. Second, the cultural revaluation of capoeira to approximate the historical legacy of the new capoeira practitioners. This movement can be noticed that biased from the creation of spaces for the revitalization of the old customs of capoeira, putting the new practitioner in contact with the side of traditional capoeira in an attempt to rescue this cultural art. Thus, it is inferred that capoeira in the logic of globalization is part of being reinvented over time they are seen creating different identities within the practice of capoeira. Thus, it is understood that the poultry behaves, on the one hand, losing connection with the past, and on the other hand, connecting with the past so reinvented.
