Abstract

This paper contains the memoir of the experimental project that produced a book-reportage about humanized childbirth in Amapá. This text details the production of the journalistic material produced, as well as its methodological foundations and literature review. The book-reportage entitled Childbirth with love: reports from mothers and professionals who fight for humanized childbirth in Amapá, seeks to portray the universe of mothers and professionals who fight for the humanization of childbirth and against obstetric violence in the state of Amapá, with investigations and approaches to awareness meetings about pregnancy and childbirth, changes in the professional performance in hospitals and the exchange of experiences from mothers to mothers. The product produced is journalistic, with an ethnobiographical research method, narratives of life stories, with techniques of journalism and literary journalism such as narration and description.
