Trajetória e participação política feminina: história de vida de Francimar Santos.

Abstract

This study focuses on participation and political trajectory of Amapá Francimar Santos, demonstrating the beginning of his political life until today to expose the issue about women and power. To contribute to sociological studies of women and politics, held on the said topic contextualization method was adopted and qualitative life story through interviews with people that participate the trajectory of Francimar. The first chapter explains theoretically be about power and political participation by women historically and today, considering the national situation and Amapá. In the second chapter emphasizes activism in social movements/unions and the factors that influenced the construction of their party leadership. The third chapter discusses the political action as an elected representative in Serra do Navio, the actions performed and the conditions that were present in their mandates councilwoman and mayor. Addressed the evolutionary trajectory and continuous, as managed space in his political party, and its greater incentives and mandates after years of militancy. The experience of thirty-three years of political activism brings the debate of the construction process for a woman who decides to develop his career is over. However it is necessary to promote women's access to elected positions in Amapá and enhance positive experiences in order to break with historical inequalities present at female political engagement.
