Perfil do grupo de capoeira quilombo Brasil: a prática da capoeira como reflexo da cultura em Macapá

Abstract

Today, capoeira is recognized and practiced worldwide by large numbers of people because of his many approaches. Macapá, factors such as increased socialization between teachers and students use as a new teaching tool has contributed to the emergence and growth of local groups engaged in poultry and is one of the most prominent group Quilombo Brazil. The article focuses on "Profile of the Group of Capoeira Quilombo Brazil: the practice of capoeira as a reflection of culture in Macapá" and aims to analyze the elements that build the profile within the group of Capoeira Quilombo Brazil. The combined methodology of the research literature and field research with the group Quilombo Brazil, opting for the method of descriptive and exploratory research. The respondents generally demonstrated that his conception of capoeira has a strong educational content, social and cultural, but the practice of capoeira as a fight has given prominence in the job profile of the group, mainly participating students showed that capoeira has served as an opportunity to gain experience and citizenship. It is concluded that the work of the group Quilombo Brazil has highlighted the strengthening of cultural and social values and the importance of citizenship through activities in teaching capoeira.
