Resumo
The research aims to analyze how graduates of the psychoanalysis training course offered by the Associação Evangélica de Psicanalistas do Espírito Santo (AEP-ES), stance on or analyze the interface between evangelical Christian religion and psychoanalytic theories. As its specific objectives, the research aims to question the teaching methods used by the AEP-ES within its training courses, when in comparison to the academic psychoanalysis, so to understand how the evangelical psychoanalysis formation impacts these professionals’ works. The research counted with the participation of 05 (five) school graduates, individuals who completed their training more than two years ago. The theoretical contribution is based on Carvalho's thesis (2007) and articles by Duarte & Carvalho (2005) to understand the relationship between the study of psychoanalysis and the Brazilian evangelical movement. Our reading of the cultural and educational phenomenon existing in AEP is discussed within the concept of cultural hybridity by Canclini (2011) and Burke (2016). This is a field research, with a qualitative approach and which will follow the methodological procedures of formativapesquisa, using an interview
technique divided into 03 (three) phases for data collection, and thematic analysis for understanding and interpretation of the data. As results, we seek to understand the stance of graduates and the impacts of this training on their professional experiences and perspectives on the world. The consciousness-shifting exercises carried out in the interview phases will enable participants to rethink and carry out a self-assessment regarding their training processes in clinical psychoanalysis, with these research products being applied to their life experiences and professional activities. By the end, we understand that, within their logic and limits of understanding, each of the graduates is aware that AEP's teaching proposal is the profusion of a psychoanalysis whose evangelical culture and theology have a leading role in opposition to
classical Freudian psychoanalysis, and that such a model of cultural hybridity can resonate in positive and negative impacts on their training and professional practices
