Resumo
Physical education has undergone minor changes but still maintains that the
content becomes a pedagogical practice esportivizada. With that search is through this
research, identify the reasons why the practice of teaching physical education at school,
is based solely on sports content, and for that will be taken into account the time and
place of Physical Education. To arrive at the factors that provide a practical
esportivizada, there was a qualitative research and ethnographic characteristics as a
diagnostic tool having a field diary. The fieldwork took place in the State School Jose
do Patrocinio, located in the district of Fazendinha, in the city of Macapa, were
observed where children 5 and 6th grade and methodology of physical education
teacher. To collect data for research, was made a field observation and unstructured
non-participant to record the teacher's methodology, its contents and the space where
the classes are developed. We also used semi-structured interviews with both students
and the teacher so they were able to talk about their experiences on the main objective
of this work. With this, realized that there is an interest by children in learning other
content, there is also a misunderstanding of the concept of sport for children, is at times
regarded as recreational and other as a possibility for social mobility, physical education
would be a possibility in the training of future athletes in the sports field, as seen field
training of manpower to work in sports. Thus the performance of teachers of physical
education seems to have a long way to enlightenment on their time and space in school,
to contribute to the formation of children and youth in physical education classes.
