Implantação de um complexo museológico de mineralogia para o município de Santana: análise histórica

Abstract

This monograph presents a brief history of the context of the exploration and export of manganese ore that took place in the State of Amapá. However, the specificities of the Municipality of Santana will be highlighted, such as its urban structure, and the urban interventions that will inevitably occur after the implementation of the Museum Complex. Therefore, the ZIP Area - Port Interest Zone, is characterized and influenced basically by the installation of large mining companies that came to the State in the 50s. Thus, the Municipality of Serra do Navio will also be emphasized, as this is the headquarters and the beginning of the entire process of exploration and export of manganese ore and this emphasis was directed to the events relating to mining exploration that took place and still take place in the State. This time, data was collected that supported the proposal to build a Mineralogy Museum Complex in the Municipality of Santana-AP. Considering that the State of Amapá has an extensive history in the area of ​​mining and mineralogy, being inserted and officially considered a DM - Mineral District, with several prominent centers in the Amazon Region. And, according to the data argued in this study, mining in the State of Amapá can be classified into two notable moments: one, where artisanal gold extraction predominated and the other with the establishment of the Mineral Extractive Industry. In the second chapter of this work, a synthetic survey of Museums, in Brazil and around the world, was also carried out, which clarifies an important part of the historical records relating to the theme of Museology. Thus, after all this survey, which involves the development of the mineral exploration system in the Municipality of Santana, and the beginning of the history of the Museums, it was designed based on the criteria of urban legality, the implementation of the architectural project of a Mineralogy Museum Complex, proposing a needs program that values ​​wealth and preserves the history of mining in the municipality, placing emphasis on Tourism, highlighting the issue of the environmental impacts of exploration, with emphasis on the "arsenic case", as this event took place during a long period, became local history, involving other municipalities and quilombola regions of Amapá and according to this research, even today there are new expectations and directions linked to this case, which still interferes with the Amapá/Santanense economy.
