Organização espacial da sub-região de Macapá, na Amazônia setentrional amapaense (1990-2015)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the spatial organization of the sub-region of Macapa - SRM in Northern Amazon Amapaense - ASA, which is composed by the municipalities of Macapa, Santana, Mazagao, Porto Grande, Ferreira Gomes, Serra do Navio, Itaubal of Piririm, Pedra Branca do Amapari and Cutias of Araguari, through its political and administrative aspects, especially from its territorial dismemberment and economic dynamics present in the region of its origin to the present time. The way it is organized this work reveals the need to understand the different roles given to Macapa sub-region, the ASA in particular. Therefore, the methodology used in this study was to analyze secondary data, documents, books and papers which proves their importance of this in the Amazon, in its spatial dynamics . The study of regionalization presents in the Amazon, alongside of the essential concepts for the understanding of spatial organization of the spatial area presented here leads to seeking the revelation of his own and unique characteristics within the hileia. The results show unique dynamic in its internal and external relations with the islands of marajoara water islands and the other municipalities in the state of Amapa. Within the SRM, are differentiated internal dynamics that show particularities, inside which denote the formation of small areas or small sub-regions due to economic activities present in each subspace. Macapa and Santana have its own dynamics, which can form a sub-region trade and services. Macapa as a regional capital C has the capacity of polarization and centrality, not only in the municipalities of the area core of ASA, as strong attraction of marajoara islands water. Finally, the spatial configuration from it’s on organization, shows the importance of the SRM, in its core area
