Abstract

To be a woman is to resist daily in this patriarchal and oppressive system, where at all times we need to be reaffirming and conquering places of speech and action. As an artist, these issues become more challenging in view of the invalidation of art and theatrical performance by a large part of the population. I seek, according to my possibilities and through theatrical making validate my artistic doing and my existence. Resist through the arts! With this intention I bring in this research reflections and questions about my personal and artistic trajectory. I seek to validate my experiences as a source of research and indicate where my productions with dance and theater are linked to my personal trajectory.
