Resumo
This Course Conclusion Work addresses the importance of Sociology in the training process of students in the 3rd grade of High School at the Mineko Hayashida State School located in the municipality of Laranjal do Jarí, State of Amapá, using a qualitative approach as a methodology, and a literature review by authors such as Cuin and Gresle (1996), Paulo Freire (2001), Moraes and Tomazi (2007) and Libâneo (2005). The objective of this work is to analyze the applicability of the discipline Sociology in the school-camp in order to understand the way in which it has contributed to the critical formation of young people graduating from High School. After the research, it was possible to conclude that many students feel encouraged to participate in classes involving Sociology content, while others, little participated in the activities. The teacher's methodology was dynamic, although the class did not show a real interest in the content taught, with the need for the teaching practice to be re-signified, to the point of encouraging all students to collectively participate in Sociology classes.
