Matemática dos palmos injustos: livro de crônicas sobre o cotidiano do transporte público amapaense

Abstract

This memoir reports the production process of the book "Mathematics of the unfair palms: a book of chronicles about the daily life of Amapá's public transportation", which brings common people's accounts, or in De Certeau's terms, ordinary citizens; as well as events of their daily lives within the public transportation between the cities Macapá and Santana in the state of Amapá. The narratives were written in the chronicle genre, with the insertion of specific elements of journalism and sociology. This memoir details the elaboration of the experimental project (book of chronicles) and the theories and methods that were used to build it. The authors who support this work are Edvaldo Pereira Lima, Felipe Pena, and Roberta Scheibe, with regard to literary journalism and its narrative tools; José Marques de Melo and Jorge de Sá refer to the chronicle and its techniques as a hybrid genre between journalism and literature; Luiz Beltrão, José Marques de Melo and Roberta Scheibe, in what concerns the chronicle and its subgenres through literary journalism; Luiz Costa Pereira Júnior, Nilson Lage and Cremilda Medina in relation to the approach on journalistic language; and De Certeau and Cremilda Medina, in the arguments concerning the ordinary daily life and humanized journalism.
