A cobertura webjornalística de crimes do tribunal do júri : uma análise da influência midiática num julgamento no Amapá

Abstract

The present work has the objective of analyzing the interference of the media in breaking the principle of presumption of innocence of Federal Constitution / 88. This practice creates a scenario of indignation, insecurity, social commotion and strong popular pressure on the suspect, leading to an early conviction of the defendant. The methodology of the study combined the bibliographical research and the field research where it was possible to know the perception of law professionals and the webjournalistic media about the topic addressed. From the results obtained it is inferred that the influence of the media on the judgments made by the Jury Court is often harmful, creating confusion in the ongoing process and influencing the opinion of the members of the Jury Tribunal and, consequently, the decision Last.
