Índices de tendências climáticas associados à “Ilha de calor” em Macapá-AP (1968-2010)

Abstract

The goal of this study is to analyze the urban climatic variation trends basedon a daily historical series of meteorological variables, notably air temperature and rainfall obtained at the meteorological station of Macapá. The methodology comprised two steps: data collection and data statistical analysis with the RClimDex Software. The first step comprised collection, ordering, and tabulation of data, from 1968 to 2010. In the second step, the RClimDex 2.12.2/IPCC was used to estimate the statistical parameters that indicate local urban climatic variation trends. We concluded that these indices may be associated with the phenomenon known as the formation of urban “heat islands”. But, the geographic characteristics of Macapá seem to weaken this effect due to the fluvial breeze of the Amazon River
