Resumo
This research focus delineate the woman’s profile working at public sanitation in
Macapá city. Through a simple study about the insertion woman’s work-market
history, we started a research that presents to the society those workers which
contributes to the city’s cleansing. When we looked back on the women’s history, we
found out that it had so much submission, social impotence, job`s preconception, and
so on. Despite changes occurred through the years, yet there’s so much
preconception against the women at work-market, mainly the ones working at public
sanitation. Currently, the woman, besides represent mostly Brazilian’s population, it
has a bigger number of years studying, accord to IBGE 60 % of people concluding
the college, they are women. This female public perform currently a very important
role, more even than men about the economic population’s growth. By the time of the
1ª and 2ª world war, so many women did assume the place of men when it was
necessary because of the battle’s war, taking care of the families business and the
men’s position on the market. This double female journey is the principal subjective
at Priore and Bassanesi`s analysis, when they write about Women Brasilian History.
According to the mentioned book, women that worked on the coffee fields, century
XIX, they lived a double work’s journey, using nights and dawning to the domestic
service. The female work journey were harder than the men’s journey. Even today,
the woman live that double journey, and this fact were also observed on the public
sanitations female.Before this context, we delineate a profile for that women working
at public sanitation at macapa city. The research start with a simple comment about
the evolution of woman on the work-market, history aspects focusing the women`s
work valorization, feminism: the emancipation by education, combat and conquests,
and it continues with approach that aim the gender and work relation and finishes
with a research about women that work at public sanitation in Macapá. About the
technique used on this monograph we had qualitative research, considering a survey
through questionnaire with direct and indirect questions, broaching personal
identification aspects, habitation, and schooling, familiar incomes, preconceptions
and social exclusion aspects suffered by those female workers.
