Documentário: realidade T: o mercado de trabalho para mulheres trans em Macapá

Abstract

The present Graduation Project is an Experimental Project, consisting of a descriptive report and an expository and participatory documentary. The study aims to document, through personal accounts, the adversities faced by transgender women and travestis in accessing and remaining in the job market in Macapá. The research sought to identify factors behind this exclusion through the stories of three transgender women in their search for employment. The methodological approach used included a bibliographic and qualitative review (Lakatos and Marconi, 2003). Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews in a semi-open format. The documentary contextualizes and exposes the narratives of these women, highlighting the importance of studies focused on visibility and social discussions about trans people, who have long been invisible and are now seeking a place in society.
