Prevenção ao uso de drogas e recuperação da dependência química: uma ação social da pastoral da sobriedade no município de Santana - AP

Abstract

The paper discusses the action of the sobriety of the Pastoral Santana-AP municipality in the process of preventing drug use and addiction recovery from the religious services organization as a way to combat the use of psychoactive substances; keeping the individual an integral and active part of a consumer society and having access to programs to reduce drug demand and the harm caused by them. These aspects are important because they talk about drugs is to discuss the health / disease process, considering the models that contribute to the understanding of the phenomenon at the moment and intervention strategies that enable consumers of psychoactive substances, which he has control his will, therefore, the abandonment of the use / abuse of drugs implies: learn to say no; make use controlled or exceed the use or total abstinence. The method used in this study is the descriptive history, having as reference the studies when Durkheim deals with elementary forms of religious life and social anomie. He discussed the relevance of the work of the Ministry of sobriety for addicts, treatment methods and family participation in recovery.
