A cobertura jornalística na editoria de esporte no jornalismo impresso do amapá: estudo dos jornais a gazeta e jornal do dia

Abstract

This work aims to analyze the contents of the editorship of sports Amapá newspapers The Gazette and Journal of the Day. To observe, it was taken as scope editions of the period of September, October and November 2014 of each print. The analysis is based on Bardin model and permeates also the study of theories of journalism proposed by Teasing and Sousa, and newsworthiness criteria, Galtung and Ruge (1965). The study is guided also in discussions and considerations made in relation to sports journalism from the perspective of specialization, according to Tavares (2009). In this respect, research it was found that the journalism specialization logic, adopted by the vehicle in question is the theme of division, that is, notebooks / editorials, without a specialized coverage bias in qualitative and in-depth approach to content. In addition, by analyzing the content, under the bias of newsworthiness, it was concluded that the approach taken by the publications of sporting goods does not constitute a portrait of the reality of local practices related to the sports world because it is still very tied to reproductive material external (from other states).
