Conjunto habitacional Mestre Oscar (AP): uma proposta de intervenção urbana

Abstract

The purpose of this work consists in drawing up a proposal for urban intervention focused on Conjunto Habitacional Mestre Oscar (CHMO), located in the Boné Azul neighborhood, in the Macapa City. What we see in Macapa City is the striking absence of landscape and town planning proposals in the housing estates and, where they exist, it is common for these to be delivered incomplete for the population, only equipped from residential buildings with minimal urbanity. The central objective is from the CHMO analysis to formulate a proposal for urban intervention that fosters the urbanity in this set and to promote urban insertion from the discussion of the right to the city and the challenge of decent housing. The method was the descriptive data, whose objective was to describe the characteristics of the population from the CHMO and the establishment of relationships between variables, based on the concept of right to the city defended by Lefebvre and urbanity defended by the Holanda and Hillier. The data collection techniques used were the bibliographic survey, the in loco study, application of questionnaires and the observation of the local community and environment, to understand the needs of the residents and their relationship to the living space and surroundings. At the end of the work it was possible to achieve the objectives proposed by the research and conclude that it is important to propose spaces that promote urbanity and meet the features of human being who is in constant transformation.
