Resumo
This research has by object to show how the retelling as pedagogic instrument if associated to the Black Children’s Literature could be used as a possible way to the work of (re)construction of the black children identity in the Elementary School. To fulfill this point, the research has made option as methodology for the use of bibliographic sources, and following the trends of exploratory studies and of qualitative basis by looking, mainly, to the analytical categories of identity and retelling, using authors appropriate to which one, as Woodward (2000), Silva (2002), Mendes (2002), Domingues (2007), Santos (2011), Munanga (2012), Hall (2015) to the first one and Matos e Sorsy (2009), Pereira (2013), Gomes Júnior (2014), Campos (2016), Pereira (2016), Jovino (2017), Nunes (2018) to the second of these categories. The results reached said that there is a deep need of utilization of the retelling as a pedagogic tool in the Elementary School united with every educational subject to became effective in the work of representation and (re)construction of the identity of back children through the problematization of their ethnic and racial belonging according what could be seen in some works of Black Children’s Literature and the conclusions pointed, inevitably, to the need that new practices could be not merely object of study and investigation, but surely of application in the day by day of all the Elementary schools in the Brazil, by proposing pedagogies of struggle against all forms of prejudice and discrimination.
