Comunicação amapaense, memória e história: resgate da vida profissional da comunicadora Terezinha Fernandes

Abstract

The documentary is a little used format in Brazilian radio; however, it enables to make use of expanded reports focused on issues that are considered relevant. Because of this, there was an idea of making a radio documentary about Terezinha Fernandes, one of the biggest broadcasters of our state. This documentary aims to show some events of her career on the radio, and learn more about the professional life of Terezinha. The broadcaster began her official work in Radio Broadcast Macapá (RDM) in 1968. In this period, the country was passing through the Military Dictatorship, making Terezinha confronts one of the most difficulties of that time, which was the role of women in Amapá society in that historical period of our country. Terezinha remains in the radio station until the present day and already accounts more than 40 year career in RDM. During all these years, she produced and presented several programs, one of them, considered the most successful, is "Ponta Aéria Voo 630" (Airlift Flight 630) on air since 1996 to the present day, on Sunday nights.
