Abstract

This study aimed to present an architectural proposal to clarify procedures and standards that relate to architectural projects of hospital environments, with the object of study one UPA 24, showing that the importance of the project implementation and improvements in the quality and life the population of Perpetual Help quarter, resulting in an open and modern concept, but that complies with all the guidelines of the regulatory agencies of hospital projects. The deployment of these units will help absorb a large number of calls made by hospitals and emergency rooms, thus decreasing, hospital risk and meeting the demands of the population uses the public health system in search of solving for the most diverse situations of confrontation disease and other difficulties that compromise the quality of life of citizens. With this emergency hospital would be responsible only to the large, more complex clinical events (trauma and surgical).
