Reportagem especial: rádio comunitária novo tempo – história da comunicação comunitária amapaense no bairro Novo Horizonte

Abstract

This special report records the process of preparing a special report for radio in the form of an experimental project for the conclusion of a Journalism course at the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP). This journalistic product proposes to bring an important process to community communication, which is the struggle for the democratization of communication, which starts from the aspirations of the community that in this period did not have access to other means of communication and resorted to the radio for this. In addition, to show that this process of implementing a community vehicle, such as Rádio Novo Tempo, contributed to awakening the talent of many young people, who today are communication professionals, and who took their first steps through the Novo Tempo community radio, in the community of the Novo Horizonte neighborhood, formerly Capilândia, located in the northern area of the municipality of Macapá, in the State of Amapá. During the accomplishment of this work, bibliographic research was carried out, collecting interviews with the characters that built the history of the Novo Tempo Community radio.
