A cidade, a beira e o rio: requalificação da paisagem do complexo hídrico do bairro Perpétuo Socorro em Macapá/AP

Abstract

This research is a study of the complex of the neighborhood Perpetual Help located on the edge of Macapá-AP and includes a place where it is possible to observe cultural traits from the riverside communities of the Amazon from the analysis of the local landscape. The area features a dynamic own involving the relationship between the river and the city that plays since his early activities and occupations still combines these activities in contemporary urban context of Macapá. The adoption of the landscape as the object of research study allows you to understand the relationships between the individual and the space, as well as the physical conditions in which the area presents. The presence of water resources that extend the neighborhood are covered by urbanization. The predominance of access roads meant only to automobiles and the absence of adequate infrastructure for the operation of the traditional trade fairs, being this one of the strongest elements of the area, set up the landscape of the neighborhood character of abandonment and unattractive to the other users who frequent the edge of the city. The paper presents a methodology geared to the shaft of a qualitative to allow an inductive analysis of the local reality, considering the relations between the medium and the social actors that recognise themselves in its mode of appropriation of the space, which results in the composition of the landscape of the Igarapé das Mulheres. Thus, they are used literature review, interviews, thematic maps, in addition to visitations to the site in different periods which are part of the methodology with the purpose to understand which are the elements transformers of the landscape. Covered are the urban elements, physical, notes historical and the symbiotic relationships that translate into a proposal for the requalification of the landscape in which you enter the Stream of Women in the context of the orla de Macapá and values the experience own the place.
