Em busca de vitalidade: uma proposta arquitetônica, paisagística e urbanística para praça José Bonifácio em Macapá/AP

Abstract

The present work presents the problem of the lack of quality in the public space of Praça José Bonifácio in the Laguinho neighborhood, in a region that has no other square or many alternatives from other places for leisure, culture and community meetings. Recognizing that this square is underused, the objective is to reveal the potentialities of this space, to propose new alternatives for use and to create a place for the exercise of community life. The methodology for conceiving this research has four stages: bibliographic survey and study of the concepts related to the social center, public spaces, urban porosity and tactical urbanism to create a theoretical framework that will serve as the basis for the intervention project; reference case analysis based on the concepts studied in the theoretical framework; data survey of the neighborhood of Laguinho, Pacoval and Jesus de Nazaré; visit to the area to understand the place of intervention and its surroundings and the application of questionnaires with the residents of the area. From this research we elaborate the proposal that consists of an architectural project of a community center of coexistence for the place mentioned above, as well as other complementary interventions of architecture, landscaping and urbanism.
