Comunicação virtual: as novas relações sociais surgidas a partir dos avanços tecnológicos e do acesso à internet

Abstract

This paper discusses the emptying of interpersonal communication that the web can cause. Technological advances and the massification of the Internet and, consequently, the virtual communication tends to influence changes in social behavior. Trying to understand and learn more about the matter is that the study was conducted. Thus, it was found that social relations were deeply scaled due to the influence of technological advances and access to the Internet, mediated by global computer network restructured social, political, economic and cultural life of contemporary society. Constructed a new way to communicate and relate, becoming indispensable to live without the aid of large network. It was confirmed also that the virtual communication brings people together, but only symbolically, because even being potentiated source of social relations, personal communication is still the most interesting, desired and reproduced.
