Percepções de enfermeiros acerca da assistência ao parto humanizado

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to observe the perception of nurses in a public maternity hospital in a municipality in the Amazon regarding the humanization of childbirth, in addition to analyzing the weaknesses and strengths that interfere with the provision of this service. Methods: This is a descriptive, exploratory study, which will articulate qualitative approach methods, through semi-structured interviews. Data collection was performed at the Santana State Hospital and the target audience was nurses working at the Normal Birth Center of that institution. The quantity was defined by saturation sampling. Results: A total of 11 people that were interviewed were obtained, and with the full transcription of the interviews, a set of responses was acquired that grouped a total of 11,714 words, which after filtering formed a cloud of words, where 10 terms of great importance speeches were selected and that obtained great significance for the research. Final Considerations: The importance of having harmony in relation to good practices for the parturient is notorious, as it is not enough for the nurse to be aware of and accept the improvements that the application of humanized childbirth brings to the woman, if the rest of the team does not agree, generating several divergences in the work environment, in addition to resulting in a lack of quality in parturient care.
