Análise mapeamento de conflitos na região das Guianas 2008-2018

Abstract

Conflicts in International Relations are addressed by two main approaches: Security and Peace. Conflict through security bias has the threat as the main conceptual axis; on the other hand, the perspective of peace has violence as the main concept. In this way, there search was based on the theoretical bias of Peace Studies based on the concepts of conflict, peace and violence. With searches in secondary sources, that is, in bibliography and in the data base searches of conflicts, there search had as object the conflicts in the Region of the Guianas in years 2008-2018. Aiming at analyzing and mapping the existing conflicts there search reached thefollowingresults:31conflicts in which 22 were registered in Venezuela, 3 in Roraima and 0 in Amapá, 2 in French Guiana, 2 in Suriname and 2 in Guyana. Based on the analyzes collected, it was considered that the conflicts derive from unequal social structures, which conditions to the emergence of structural violence, which ultimately generates negative social peace
