Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of society in the rehabilitation process of inmates in the state of Amapá, it is known that the penalty restricting freedom plus punitive has among other functions to prepare this individual for his re-entry to society. However, with the development of this article will be checked if the regime progression in Amapá prison system is accompanied by social projects aimed at reintegrating convicts to society and if these projects are important mechanisms for the rehabilitation of these. Therefore, it becomes essential to this study, for the rehabilitation of the convict and/or egress in Amapá prison system and its integration into society will become a reality through the implementation of a humane prison system and aimed at restoring human rights.
