Resumo

Vegetable oils are found in most plants and the Amazonian biodiversity is a forest that has several species with this oleaginous characteristic. It is known that many of these plants have bioactive compounds that can be used to control vectors of viral diseases, such as dengue. In this scenario, the objective of this work was to determine the larvicidal activity of fixed oils obtained from the fruits of the vegetable species Astrocaryum vulgare (Tucumã) and Acrocomia aculeata (Mucajá) and Mucajá bioproduct that were tested against the 3 stage larval state of the mosquito Aedes aegypti . The fruits were collected on the Campus of the Federal University of Amapá. After extraction with a Soxhlet apparatus using solvent (n- Hexane), analysis by Gas Chromatography Coupled to Mass Spectrometer (GC-MS) and Infrared Spectroscopy (IR) were performed to determine the fatty acid profile of each oil. From the preliminary test with the oils, it was possible to determine that Mucajá presented a greater biological activity compared to Tucumã oil. Therefore, a nanoformulation with silk fibroin was made, based on mucajá oil to enhance its efficiency. The LC50 and LC90 reading for the formulation were determined in 24 with values equal to 23.96 μg.mL-1 and 119.34 μg.mL-1, respectively. While, in 48 h, the emulsion showed LC50 of 7.90 μg.mL-1 and LC90 of 25.32 μg.mL-1. The larvicidal action of the nanoformulation is dependent on the composition of fatty acids present in Mucajá oil and this makes it a possible efficient alternative to synthetic insecticides
