Território tecnológico: a gênese da informatização do espaço amapaense no contexto das redes tecnológicas

Abstract

This study is a result of the necessity to reflect through historical facts that determined the computation process in Amapá in the context of the technological networks, and, the social, economical and spatial changes provoked by the informational revolution, which generated profound changes in amapaense society. Amapá territory in its creation genesis was always a space of disputes and power search, which influenced in a decisive way the dynamics of its development, which has an external status. Also, in the context of the spatial diffusion of the Telematics, it carries influences of each historical period, and, its representativeness for the Brazilian nation. From the verification of the technological isolation documented by the first governor of the Federal Territory of Amapá, passing by the military regime that highlighted in amapaense soil, the mark of the nationalism through the nominated governors, until, the governments' political attempt chosen democratically, influencing in the obsolete infrastructure of the telecommunication networks that tied the local progress. It is also concluded, that the local space would be influenced strongly by the global informationalism, and their political and administrative structures. This research still intends to document the local actors' pioneering bravery, that in some historical moment, they noticed that it was necessary to make counterproductive decisions to the imposed model
