O surgimento da filosofia ocidental no Brasil colônia

Abstract

The present article discusses or approaches the western philosophy of Brazil in the colony, seeking to emphasize the facts that marked a conjuncture after this period, which occurred with the arrival of the Portuguese colonizers in the 16th century, until an illuminated break in the 18th century. This period was a time of exploration and domination along the lines of a transplanted ideology that radically influenced the way of living and thinking of native peoples already existing in Brazil. Therefore, the objective of this paper is to analyze a colonial conjuncture and the development of philosophical thinking in Colonial Brazil. The methodology used to perform the work is based on bibliographical research with qualitative approach. Thus, it was found that or the emergence of philosophy is strongly influenced by the Portuguese, which is transplanted to Brazil and that the way of living and thinking is capable of suppressing as peculiarities of native peoples, which have to suit the use of man and the world of newborn babies. However, conclude that it is still necessary to use, study and know more to better understand the birth and development of philosophy in Brazil, as well as the contributions and legacy saved for the Brazilian people.
