Metodologias de ensino-aprendizagem de biologia aplicadas por professores na Escola Estadual “Augusto dos Anjos” em Macapá, Amapá

Abstract

The school is of fundamental importance for the development of a citizen, being a starting point for learning in several areas, however, the teaching of biology still represents a challenge regarding the teaching methodologies used by educators because the way that the teacher chooses transmitting the content can bring success or failure in the students' teaching-learning process. For this reason, this work aimed to investigate which methodologies are used in the teaching of biology at the state school Augusto dos Anjos, and if these methodologies are effective in the teaching-learning process Learning from the students' point of view. For this, the study used qualitative and quantitative research of a descriptive exploratory nature and the questionnaire as a data collection instrument. After applying the questionnaires, the data were tabulated and verified using the Excel software, after the responses were read and evaluated, a grouping of responses was carried out according to similarity as a form of systematization, which materialized in the form of graphs. The research revealed important aspects about the biology teaching-learning methodologies applied by the teachers in the field school and the students' vision about them, where it was verified that the teachers apply traditional teaching-learning methodologies according to the resources made available by the school. and that 62% of students think that these methodologies make learning more effective and the other 38% point out the need for teachers to use active methodologies in classes such as the use of games, practical activities and debates.
