Transformação de ambientes degradados em parques urbanos: uma proposta de requalificação para a lixeira de Santana

Abstract

This research had as object of study Public Trash of Santana, problem occurred with the county's creation in the late 1980. The work also aims the importance of information on municipal solid waste and procedures that guide the activities related to recovery with the use of environmental and landscape techniques in the rehabilitation process of degraded areas, garbage dumps and landfills in urban park. The research was structured from the survey of bibliographic data and review with respect to urban planning. Interviews were conducted with technical staff and questionnaires were applied with local residents. The work took into account the physical treatments of rehabilitation of the physical environment and the local environment as aggravating. Therefore, it is necessary that social and political agents to engage in the recovery, the insertion of the social life of the affected site considering the planning and urban management as key tools in the organization of urban space.
