Revitalização e novas funcionalidades do parque do Jandiá

Abstract

The central proposal of the study is to bring again a cultural and financial movement to the Parque do Jandiá tourist complex, in which a change in the landscape, structures and mobility will be suggested, so that there is a balance with the surroundings, where it has lost its attractiveness. , its economy and is in complete abandonment. It is believed that through this study it will be possible to raise the cultural importance that this place has for the population of Bairro do Cidade Nova 1, and that it will once again be frequented by it. The methodology used was based on bibliographical and/or documentary references such as written press; cartographic material (maps and graphs); publications (books, theses, monographs, separate publications, research, etc.); field research, with data collection, interviews, questionnaires and photographs on site and with people directly or indirectly connected with the subject; Softwares: AutoCad, SketchUp, Google Earth, Google Maps, Power Point; and data from official governmental and non-governmental bodies. The research aims at generating a new economic, social and spatial dynamic, with the revitalization of the studied area and its new features, since there is a decrease in the number of tourists in the area, linked to the lack of action by the public authorities in seeking improvements. The current neglect harms the local population and users. The lack of knowledge of the importance of this urban space for the economy, of the importance for tourist movement, generates a lack of investment, characterizing a lack of planning and poor distribution of funds. For the enhancement and preservation of squares and public parks, knowing the importance, uses and functions of these areas are essential for sustainability aimed at the environment and the quality of life of the population, in which the proposal for the object of study was designed, the in order to meet the needs of both the population and the environment, in a way that helps this space to regain life, as well as its surroundings.
