Produção audiovisual indígena - povos do Amapá e norte do Pará: fortalecendo identidades e territórios (1986 - 2019)

Abstract

This research seeks to carry out a survey and investigation of the audiovisual productions of the indigenous peoples of Amapá and Northern Pará, from 1986 to 2019. Recognizing the historical contexts in which they are inserted, the research raises data on non-indigenous productions up to 1995, passing through first film school project implemented in the Wajãpi indigenous land, until the peoples appropriated the tools. From 1995 to 2019, productions with indigenous peoples in the construction process are presented, reflected in the formation of indigenous audiovisual collectives, such as the Karipuna, Galibi-Marworno and Wajãpi. The survey shows data tabulation with information about the videos, ending with the textual characterization of some works, presenting notes on the use of these materials in indigenous and non-indigenous education with contributions to the teaching of history.
