Perfil do jornalista no estado do Amapá: características demográficas, salário, rotinas produtivas e motivação do profissional no mercado de trabalho

Abstract

The present course conclusion project is a study about the profile and market of the Amapaense journalist. As for the public researched, is proposed to analyze the unionized journalists to the Union of Amapá’s Journalists (SINDJOR-AP), the newly graduated professionals from the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP) and academics from the last year that already operate in the journalistic area. It was adopted as initial methodology a quantitative research applying some closed questionnaire to achieve the three defined groups. After this, a second stage was accomplished that corresponds to the qualitative phase performed by semi-structured interviews. For this stage, was decided to interview 10% of the unionized journalists to the Union of Amapá’s Journalists (SINDJOR-AP) reached in the first stage and the newly graduated professionals from the Federal University of Amapá (UNIFAP). From the received responses, it was found that if the Amapá’s journalists had to choose another profession in their life, they will choose Journalism again; however, they believe that the journalist needs to be more valuated when it comes to salary.
