Resumo
This research investigates the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its application in lesson planning. The study aims to understand how these professionals perceive and utilize AI in their didactic planning. The methodology adopted was qualitative and exploratory, based on the implementation of a pedagogical workshop with public school teachers from the city of Macapá/AP, Brazil. The results indicate that most participants recognize the potential of AI as a teaching support tool but point out challenges such as the lack of training to handle AI and inadequate infrastructure in the schools where they work. The research highlights that AI can optimize lesson planning and promote personalized teaching, as long as it is used critically, appropriately, and responsibly. It concludes that the use of AI in education requires teacher training and institutional policies for its effective implementation in the school routine and, especially, in pedagogical practice, so that it contributes to the teaching and learning process.
