A reconciliação entre o espaço público e as áreas verdes: um estudo de caso sobre a paisagem de Fazendinha

Abstract

This research seeks to articulate ideas that allow reflections about the edge landscape in the District of Fazendinha. The Amazon River surround the area, which is specifically located on the State of Amapá, between the cities of Macapá and Santana. The district presents contrasting realities and landscapes, associated with the experiences in dry areas (consolidated urban), and humid areas (houses that are shaped as stilts and develops inside of the Amazon forest, on the Environmental Protection Area of Fazendinha). As a theoretical basis, I appealed to concepts from humanistic geography as an approach worried about the subjectivity of human interactions and the space that materialize in such a natural landscape. This paper has your methodology inside of the qualitative shaft. Having as a direct source the local situation and the inductive analysis of the features found considering the dynamics of the relationship between the meddle and the subject when framing the analysis inside of the field of vision and individual significance and cultural partner that was found. Questionnaires, literature review, thematic maps and visits at different times in the area of study, make a part of the methodology adopted aiding in the understanding of what unites, associate, dissociate and fragment that landscape. Concluding, we analyzed the physical, urban and historical elements, and the symbolic relationships established, focusing on the development of urban design that integrates in first scale, places that surround the locality, and in second scale, the cities of Macapá and Santana through a proposal that combines natural and engineered environments.
