Praça Aram: intervenção urbano-paisagística no bairro do Infraero II

Abstract

Several Amazonian cities have grown in disorganized and unassisted ways for decades, resulting in urban networks that have expanded informally and inappropriately. This process was also common to the city of Macapá, capital of Amapá. In contemporary times, this dynamic is the genesis of numerous problems of urban infrastructure, mobility, environmental, citizenship, and especially the scarcity of urban spaces, especially when it comes to peripheral spaces. Having urban spaces served with vegetated areas and / or ecological solutions generates several benefits to the environment and the urban environment, such as factors related to air quality, thermal sensation, noise absorption, among other factors that permeate the relationship of being with the environment, with the balance between urban and natural environment, and providing quality of life to users. Regarding these concepts, the present research has as location of study the district Infraero II, located in peripheral area to the north of the city of Macapá. The neighborhood faces problems similar to those mentioned above, which were diagnosed and analyzed, serving as the basis for a proposal of urban intervention for the promotion of free ecological urban conceptual spaces, with the aim of alleviating some of the problems present in the neighborhood, such as: the lack of afforestation, consequently, the lack of places for community coexistence and leisure, in the quest to make it a more socially and environmentally fair space. The project entitled Praça Aram, has a program of recreational, sports and ecological-educational environments, structured on the perspective of sustainable technologies.
