Resumo
This book-reportage presents a journey through the history of Bailique, an archipelago located about 12 hours by boat from the urban area of Macapá. A history that has been transmitted and told orally and that, for this very reason, has been lost in time and also each time the "guardians" who carry these traces in their memory end their life cycle in that land. In the region we met characters that guided us through the timeline of the Macapa district. A trip that made us navigate through the most remote moments of the history of Bailique, told by those who lived or heard someone tell it. And these fragments made up of looks, many times personal, formed the content of this great report. A work that seeks to understand the current reality of the archipelago within a broader, deeper, and more current historical context. This is an Experimental Project produced as the conclusion work of the Journalism Course at Universidade Federal do Amapá - UNIFAP. However, much more than being an academic work, the bookreportage intends to be a contribution to the written record of the history of Bailique.
