Reflexões sobre o ensino da sociologia e a participação política dos professores desta disciplina na cidade de Macapá

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the behavior of teachers of Sociology within the prism of political action, with an emphasis on issues that involve political representation, especially the trade union aspect, which is a way to get achievements for the class. The analyzes in question are based on the principle of the critical training that these teachers undergo in the academy, in what way themselves see this issue, and it was found, through research documentary and interviews with professors in the field of Sociology, the shy participation of these in the political processes that involve the teaching of this discipline.
